The three weekly titles are owned by Baylis Media Ltd, a multi-media news organisation based in Maidenhead and covering the East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire area. Owned by a charitable trust, we are one of the few truly independent newspaper publishers left in the country. As a junior sport reporter, you will have the opportunity to cover everything from Olympic-standard competition to grassroots games across the patch You will be given the chance to develop your multi-media and subbing skills, and will use social media to engage with our audience. The role is hands-on, and you will be asked to attend and cover matches at the weekends and on some evenings. Candidates must have an NCTJ pre-entry certificate or similar, a clean driving licence and car and strong sporting knowledge across a range of disciplines.
